n8n has introduced dedicated Agentic Nodes to simplify multi-agent orchestration. The new nodes allow developers to construct complex feedback loops where multiple specialized AI models cooperate, critique, and execute tasks without human supervision.

Multi-Agent Cooperation

Using these nodes, a developer can build a workflow where a research agent gathers data, a writing agent drafts content, an editing agent checks for brand alignment, and a publishing agent updates the CMS. The agents pass variables, resolve errors, and refine outputs autonomously.

Human-in-the-Loop Safeguards

To prevent runaway API costs or erroneous executions, n8n includes visual veto steps. Developers can set high-risk actions (like sending emails or executing server scripts) to pause until approved in a dashboard. The visual canvas makes it easy to monitor agent progress and set human-in-the-loop approvals.

Agentic nodes are available immediately on all self-hosted and cloud instances of n8n, with pre-built templates for marketing, coding, and customer support pipelines, lowering the barrier to deploying active AI workforces.
